Featured in Intermediair: Addressing the Gender Pay Gap on #EqualPayDay

I recently contributed to an Intermediair article on #EqualPayDay, where we examined the persistent pay gap between male- and female-dominated professions. The article brings together diverse perspectives, including insights from sociologist Joey Tang, pedagogical worker Sandra de Boer-Hildebrand, and IT expert Carina de Vries.

In the discussion, I shared my experiences within the IT sector, where the pay gap remains a significant issue. Despite growing opportunities, women in tech often face disparities in pay, fewer advancement opportunities, and stereotypes that undervalue their skills. Addressing these issues requires transparency, proactive policies, and a commitment to equity across all levels of the workplace.
